Welcome to the Atlanta Detox Center

Welcome to Atlanta Detox Center! If you are reading this, it is because we have the opportunity to offer you, or someone you love, help with substance abuse.  We are a nationally accredited, state licensed, dual diagnosis detox and residential treatment program located in the heart of Atlanta. We are a top rated and highly reviewed private facility, and pride ourselves on the quality of care we provide to patients and families.

Our Mission at Atlanta Detox Center is to help individuals discover their strength and potential, and find lasting recovery. We foster healing through a holistic approach that aligns the mind, body, and soul. With unwavering support and compassionate, professional care, we guide patients toward clarity, resilience, and fulfillment.

Medical Detox

At Atlanta Detox Center, we will ensure each patient is medically safe and properly detoxed before beginning residential care. We have 24/7 medical staff available to accommodate each individuals needs, including care from a Doctor, Psychiatrist, Advance Practice Nurse Practitioners, and additional medical and nursing staff.  We provide tapers from narcotics, and additional comfort medications to ensure the patient is both comfortable and safe. Detox can range anywhere from 72 hours to several weeks, depending on individual needs and our medical teams recommendations. We can detox patients from Alcohol, Opiates, Methadone, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Benzodiazepines, Kratom, and other commonly abused drugs and medications.

During the detox phase, our patients have the option to attend residential programming if they would like to participate, but this is not mandatory, as we know during this stage of recovery, a lot of patients are catching up on sleep, hydration, and enjoy additional time to themselves.

During detox, patients will meet with their case manager, the concierge team, and their primary therapist, and be evaluated by our multidisciplinary team. We will begin making an individualized treatment program to assess and provide care for all of their needs for the entirety of their stay with us.

My team consisted of Terrence, Aaron, Chris and Dr. Original Michael. They were always there to around to talk and give me guidance, answer questions and teach me the beginning process of recovery."
